Abstract
Aims: Infectious diseases are among the most serious diseases that may lead to death in many parts of the world. This study was conducted to investigate the main causes of mortality among patients hospitalized in the infectious ward and respiratory ICU of Sina hospital in Hamadan.
Materials & Methods: The medical records of patients hospitalized from March 2012 to March 2017 in the infectious ward and respiratory ICU were investigated, those not surviving during the hospitalization.
Findings: A total of 593 medical records of patients were reviewed, of which 534 cases were enrolled in this study. Among which, 426 (79.8 %) and 108 (20.2%)cases were related to patients hospitalized in the respiratory ICU and infectious ward, respectively The mortality rate during 2012 to 2016 was calculated as follows: 4.69% in 2012, 6.31% in 2013, 4.68% in 2014, 5.2% in 2015, and 5.8% in 2016. This study results showed that the most common causes of mortality were sepsis (44.4%) in the respiratory ICU and pneumonia (25.3%) in the infectious ward. The highest rates of case fatality were related to sepsis (237cases, 48.2%) and pulmonary embolism (15 cases, 44.1%).
Conclusions: The present study findings showed that sepsis and pneumonia were the most common causes of death among patients hospitalized in the infectious diseases ward and respiratory ICU; also, sepsis and pulmonary embolism accounted for the highest case fatality rates.

Abstract
Aims: The pandemic corona is known as one of the most important challenges in the world. At the same time, the stigma associated with COVID-19 threatens different groups, including patients, recoveries, and healthcare workers. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of stigmatization during the COVID-19 pandemic among healthcare providers in Iran.
Instrument & Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study, in which 527 people were selected using simple random sampling, was conducted in 2022. The overall COVID-19-related stigma score was calculated from 18 to 62 with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.906. SPSS 25 software was used for data analysis by independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Chi-square.
Findings: The highest percentage of the obtained score was assigned to, the practices to avoid infection with COVID-19 (48.1%) and anxiety or fear of being affected (47%). Among the domains of stigma, the most important predictor of anxiety or fear of being affected was the policy of health settings (R2=0.735).
Conclusion: Ongoing education, adherence to infection prevention and control protocols, and personalized strategies have the most significant role in improving healthcare workers' compliance in averting COVID-19 transmission.

Abstract
Aims: Vitrification affects intracellular calcium, fertilization ability, and developmental competence of mammalian oocytes. This effect may be more closely associated with an intracellular calcium rise induced by cryoprotectants. The present study aimed to assess whether reducing calcium of vitrification solution could improve the fertilization and developmental competence of ovine oocytes.
Materials & Methods: COCs were collected from the ovine ovary. MII oocytes were divided into 5 groups, one non-vitrified (control) and four vitrified groups 24 hours after COC culture. Vitrified groups were designed according to the presence or absence of EGTA (a calcium chelator) and/or calcium in base media, including mPB1+ (modified PBS with Ca2+), mPB1- (modified PBS without Ca2+), mPB1+/EGTA (mPB1+ containing EGTA), mPB1-/EGTA (mPB1- containing EGTA). Fertilization rate and in vitro development were evaluated after embryo thawing. Also, blastocyst quality was assessed using differential staining. Data analysis was carried out using one-way analysis variance.
Findings: There was no significant difference in the viability rate between vitrified groups. Fertilization and the developmental rate decreased in the presence of calcium (p<0.05) but in the calcium-free medium with the EGTA supplementation group, the developmental rate obviously increased. On the other hand, blastocyst cell count in the control group was similar to vitrified groups.
Conclusion: Using a calcium-free cryoprotectant by adding EGTA can improve the quality of vitrified-thawed ovine MII oocyte and also a higher developmental rate in obtained embryos.

Abstract
E-business Governance is the decision-making framework within which decisions about relationship, accountability, compliance, direction, and control in e-business activities are made. This structure make the e-commerce organization manage itself more effectively and prevent failure that take place by having not adequate attention to governing elements, risk of e-business, dynamic of standards, and rules. In this research by using literature review and interviews with experts, a questionnaire was designed and by analyzing the gathered data through surveys, the e-business key success factors such as e-business enablers, corporate and IT governance, the best practices, management and strategy were extracted. Then these key factors were presented as the e-business governance models. The results of statistical analysis confirm that the model might be helpful in handling the process of e-business in Iran.
