Abstract
Steel plates are widely used in various industries, especially in civil engineering. Low cost in implementation and reduction of seismic mass are the advantage of steel shear wall system compared to other structural systems. The goal of a good design is that along with following the existing guidelines and achieving the desired seismic resistance of the structure, the structure is affordable in terms of weight and cost. Considering that according to the design, it is not possible to achieve the optimal use of the structure's capacity by force control method, the theory of uniform deformations was proposed with the assumption of a constant performance level. The subject of design based on performance increase the safety of the structure against earthquake force and design with optimal seismic performance during the useful life of the structure in seismic areas. Also, compared to the design method based on force control, it can lead to a lighter and economical design.
One of the significant ways to reduce the weight and stiffness of shear walls and boundary elements connected to them is to limit the connection of filler plates to boundary elements. In this method, limiting the length of the connection reduces the force on the beams and columns, and as a result, smaller sections can be used.
In this research, in order to achieve the optimal performance level, two concrete frames with steel shear wall resistant system are subjected to nonlinear analysis. Then, the initial evaluation of the behavior and the correctness of the used method are checked. After that, the effective factors in achieving uniform stress in the height of the structure will be investigated. For this purpose, by using the effect of the thickness parameter and the appropriate pattern of connection of the shear steel plate to the surrounding elements, the way of changing the performance and behavior of the structure will be investigated. For this purpose, 3- and 4-story concrete frames with steel shear wall systems were modeled using ABAQUSTM finite element software. The steel used in the steel shear wall system is ST37. First, the connection of steel shear plates to floor beams was considered and then the influence of the partial connection pattern on the seismic performance of the steel shear wall system was investigated. The modeled frames were subjected to dynamic analysis, linear and nonlinear buckling analysis, and cyclic analysis. Based on the obtained results, the property of energy dissipation in the frame with a steel shear wall system with partial connection has increased significantly. Changing the partial connection pattern led to changing the maximum in-plan relative displacement. Also, the surface of the stress distribution shows that in the partial connection, the stress concentration mainly occurred in the place of the steel shear plate connections. In addition, according to the results of cyclic analysis, considering the partial connection of the steel shear wall has led to a decrease in the average energy absorbed in the structure and an increase in its ductility. Also, changing the connection pattern has affected the average amount of absorbed energy in different loading cycles.

Abstract
In this study, the effect of poison to salinity were exposed on gill tissue of common carp (C. carpio). Based on this, 250 common carp fry with an average weight of 21±2g were distributed in four treatments each with three repetitions including: salinity zero, 4 ppt, 8 ppt and 12 ppt, were distributed for a period of 7 d. then one group was placed for 4 d in exposure to pesticide with an acute concentration of 150 ppm chlorpyrifos with formulation of 40.8% EC and the second group was placed for 7 d in the with sub-acute concentration of 15 ppm chlorpyrifos. Histopathology of Gill tissue showed that the poison and salinity have such injuries as epithelial hypertrophy, lamellar aneurism, secondary connecting adjacent blades, distal hyperplasia, epithelial lifting, leukocyte infilt and hyperplasia. Gill histopathological result showed that at high concentrations, Epithelial hypertrophy, Distal hyperplasia and Lamellar fusion, versus harm in low concentrations to form Lamellar aneurism, Epithelial lifting and the Leukocyte infilt. Therefore, these pathological indicators can be used as biomarkers.

Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the capability of the halophyte A. littoralis in symbiosis with Rhizophagus intraradices and Nocardia Halotolerans an indigenous bacterium of saline soils- on phytoextraction of Na under saline conditions. Salinity treatments included 0 (S0), 100 mM NaCl (S1), 200 mM NaCl (S2), 100 mM NaCl+50mM K2SO4 (S3), 200 mM NaCl+50mM K2SO4 (S4) levels. Plant fresh and dry weight, chlorophyll content decreased as salinity increased up to S2 level and increased thereafter. Plant root colonization in the inoculation and co-inoculation of AMF+SR-PGPB were similar. Compared to the S0 treatment, root colonization in the AMF group decreased by 23.5%, 32.6%, 13.5%, and 26.7% under S1, S2, S3, and S4 treatments, respectively. In the Bacteria+AMF group, the reduction was smaller, with decreases of 2.8%, 3.4%, and an increase of 6.8% and 1.4% under S1, S2, S3, and S4 treatments, respectively. These results indicate that co-inoculation with PGPB mitigated the negative effects of salinity on root colonization. The root and soil glomalin contents increased as salinity increased. Root glomalin in plants inoculated by AMF+SR-PGPB was more than in a single inoculation of AMF under salt stress. This study highlights the potential application of salt-tolerant bacteria and AMF as effective strategies for enhancing plant growth and productivity in saline environments, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices in affected regions.

Abstract
This study applies Martin Seligman’s PERMA model of well-being to Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood, offering a positive psychology perspective on the novel. According to Seligman, well-being comprises five dimensions: Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment. Using a qualitative literary analysis, the research examines Toru Watanabe’s journey of love, grief, and self-discovery by identifying and interpreting textual elements aligned with the PERMA model, demonstrating how these elements interplay in his pursuit of well-being. By analyzing Toru's relationships and emotional experiences, the study examines the transformative role of positive emotions and meaningful engagement in navigating life’s adversities. The dynamic nature of accomplishment is also highlighted, showcasing Toru’s resilience and his ability to find fulfillment in the face of challenges. The findings reveal the nuanced integration of positive psychology principles within Murakami's narrative, emphasizing the interplay of emotional connection, purpose, and personal growth as pathways to flourishing. The study concludes that Norwegian Wood not only encapsulates the complexity of human flourishing but also underscores the resources and pathways available for cultivating a meaningful and resilient life. These insights contribute to the broader understanding of literature’s potential to illuminate the principles of positive psychology and human well-being.

Abstract
This study was carried out to investigate alternative instead of corn gluten meal in diets and the effects of this substitution on blood biochemical and hematological parameters of common carp juvenile. Juvenile's carp with an average 11.5 ± 0.5g, 9 ± 1cm weight and length respectively, were fed with experimental diets for 8 weeks. Diets with 31% crude protein and 3100 kcal kg-1 raw energy alternative levels of 150, 270 and 490 (gr kg-1) and a control diet without corn gluten was made. At the end of the experiment, blood biochemical parameters, including glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, and hemoglobin, hematocrit, white blood cells (WBC) and red blood cells (RBC) in juveniles fed the experimental diets compared with the control group showed a significant difference (P0.05). Abstract
The list of forty one subgenera of the genus Andrena from Iran is given. The list provided here is based on a detailed study of all available published data. Four subgenera and five species are recorded for the first time from Iran, including Andrena (Cnemidandrena) fuscipes (Kirby, 1802), Andrena (Lepidandrena) curvungula (Thomson, 1870), Andrena (Lepidandrena) pandellei (Pérez, 1895), Andrena (Parandrena) sericata (Imhoff, 1868) and Andrena (Platygalandrena) tecta (Radoszkowski, 1876). Ecological notes on the newly recorded species are briefly discussed.

Abstract
Logistic regression (LR) was used to model urban growth between the years 1987 and 2001 in Gorgan city, north east of Iran. Three groups of variables including economic-social, land use and biophysical variables were used in the modeling practice. Using covariance of the independent variables, distance to administrative and sporting centers plus distance to cities were removed. ROC (Relative Operating Characteristic) value for LR was 0.87 that confirmed success of the modeling method. Using maps of urban growth probability predicted by the LR model, urban distribution patterns for the years 2010, 2020, 2030, 2040 and 2050 were created. Land use maps for the years 2001-2050 were created using urban probability pattern maps and the base land use map of the year 1987. We used landscape metrics at class and landscape levels to compare the urban growth effects on other land use types present in the area. The comparison showed that urban development influences agriculture and pasture land use types more than other land uses. Also, we found that the landscape in the study area has undergone fragmentation and will become more fragmented and heterogeneous over time. Urban growth creates higher urban patchiness and increases the number of pasture and agricultural patches. The information thus obtained is helpful in more effective management of the area.

Abstract
Formalin is a common disinfectant and therapeutic agent in fisheries-related activities. Considering large variation in susceptibility of different species to formalin toxicity, it is necessary to determine its toxicity and safety margins in different species, separately. Therefore, to investigate formalin acute toxicity and safety margins on Caspian roach, an experiment was conducted in 1g Caspian roachs Rutilus rutilus caspicus. Fish were exposed to 0, 30, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 400 ppm formalin and mortality was recorded after 0.5, 1, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96h. 0.5-96 h LC50 values were 49-246 ppm. The lowest observed effect concentrations (LOEC) were found to be 40-150 ppm at different periods. No observed effect concentrations (NOEC) were 30-100 ppm at different periods. According to regression model for NOEC versus time, concentrations of 88.4, 80.3, 51.2 and 40.1 ppm are suggested as the maximum concentrations for 0.5, 1, 12 and 24 h bath treatment, respectively. Results showed the recommendations for formalin safety in the literatures are not applicable and valid for Caspian roach. Such differences could be due to species or experimental differences which should be taken into account before treating.

Abstract
In order to study the role of Pythium species associated with cantaloupe root and crown rot, samples were collected from infected fields in different areas of Khorasan Razavi province during 2009-2010. The Root pieces were washed and cultured on CMA-PARP medium. The pythium isolates were then purified by hyphal tip method and identified based on van der Plaats-Niterink mycological key. The pathogenic species were identified as Pythium aphanidermatum, P. ultimum var. ultimum, and P. deliense. The pathogenicity of isolates on cantaloupe seedlings was tested under greenhouse conditions by using wheat grain inoculum. The results indicated that P. aphanidermatum was the most prevalent species and was recovered in all the regions. P. ultimum was isolated from Neyshabour, Fariman and Mashhad whereas P. deliense was detected in Khaaf. This to our knowledge, is the first report on occurrence and distribution of Pythium species causing root and stem rot on cantaloupes in Khorasan province.

Abstract
Acute toxicity (96h-LC50) of potassium permanganate (PM) was determined for Caspian kutum Rutilus frisii kutum at two size classes (1 and 3 g). Static renewal method was used. Fish were exposed to different concentrations of PM and mortality was recorded thereafter, until 96 h. Exposed fish showed behavioral stress indicators. 96h-LC50 was calculated to be 3.204 (3.147-3.260) mg/L for small fish and 3.460 (3.393-3.528) mg/L for large fish. Safe concentration for small and large fish was calculated to be 0.003-0.320 and 0.003-0.342 mg/L, respectively. No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) and Lowest Observed Effect Concentration (LOEC) were 2.6 and 2.8 mg/L for small and 2.8 and 3.0 mg/L for large fish. Results indicated that Caspian kutum is susceptible to PM toxicity; although less than many tested species. Likewise, toxicity of PM significantly decreases with increase in fish weight. Higher tolerance in large fish compared to small fish might be as a result of increased stress resistance and higher quality of these fish.

Abstract
Some Biochemical properties of silver carp surimi prepared by application of acid-alkali aided methods were investigated and compared to that of derived by conventional method. In terms of total protein solubility and recovery, lipid reduction, and total pigment extractability and myoglobin removal there was a significant (P<0.05) difference among the treatments. Acid-aided method showed the most efficiency to recover more proteins (86.2%) in comparison to the alkaline-aided (79.8%) and conventional (76.7%) methods. The lipid reduction percentage was recorded as 43.6%, 58.4% and 72.3% for the conventional method, and acid-alkali aided methods, respectively. In terms of total pigment removal, the conventional method showed higher efficiency (P<0.05) compared to the pH-shifting methods. Conversely, fish protein solubilisation by acid-alkali aided techniques was more efficient (P<0.05) compared to the conventional method of making surimi. In conclusion, pH-shifting techniques were superior in comparison with the conventional method in order to recover more functional proteins and to efficiently reduce the lipid and myoglobin content of resultant fish protein isolate.

Abstract
A field survey of the bee fauna was conducted in the north of Iran during 2009 to 2015. Special concern was given to the tribe Ceratinini (Hymenoptera; Apidae). Ten species of the genus Ceratina were collected and identified in the present study. Three species are recorded for the first time from Iran, including Ceratina (Euceratina) chrysomalla Gerstaecker 1869, Ceratina (Euceratina) cyanea (Kirby, 1802) and Ceratina (Euceratina) gravidula Gerstaecker, 1869. An updated checklist of Iranian Ceratinini with short description and figures of newly recorded species are provided. The host plants and distribution of each species are also given.

Abstract
Factors affecting the spatial variations of water quality of the Mazandaran coastal ecosystem was determined in summer 2012. For this purpose, water quality parameters (nutrients, temperature, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, chlorophyll α and turbidity) were evaluated along 4 transects (Amirabad, Babolsar, Noshahr and Ramsar) in the depths of 5, 10, 20 and 50m, using multivariate analysis methods. Based on the cluster analysis of data, the sampling sites could be classified into 5 distinct groups, including 35-50m water layer of station 50m in all transects, 0-5m layer in station 5m in all transects, Ramsar transect and the majority of surface and bottom layers of 3 transects including Noshahr, Babolsar and Amirabad. Based on discriminant analysis, 86.40% of the sampling sites were correctly classified. Factor analysis explained 87.53% of the total variance, the five principal components of which (viz. temperature, turbidity, nitrate, silica and ammonium) were considered as the most effective parameters on the spatial variation of water quality. This study suggests that the number of sampling locations can be reduced to two transects. Thermocline, transport of nutrients (specially phosphorus and ammonium) from rivers, sea floor, cage culture and the ctenophore, M. leidyi, were the most effective sources on spatial variations of water quality. Moreover, the multivariate statistical methods were found to be useful tools to recognize the spatial variations pattern along the Mazandaran coasts in summer.

Abstract
Soil characteristics is very important in water erosion processes. The present investigation was conducted in gully lands of Ardebil Province, Iran, to assess the role of soil texture and structure on aggregate stability using wet sieve method. To achieve the study purposes, mean weighted diameter of aggregates was calculated, and its relationships with lime and clay percentages, sodium absorption ratio and soil organic matter were then determined. The research results showed, in the first and second depth, the organic matter had the highest direct and positive effect on aggregate stability. In first depth, clay and lime had a direct and positive effect on aggregate stability. In both depths, sodium absorption ratio had the highest but negative effect on aggregate stability. Organic matter and clay had the highest direct and positive effect on aggregate stability in the second depth. The highest indirect effect of the parameters on aggregate stability was in second depth due to effect of clay and organic matter on each other. In second depth, lime had the direct and positive effect on aggregate stability. Sodium absorption ratio had a direct and negative effect on aggregate stability in both study depths.

Abstract
Collecting data of the family Halictidae are reported in Gorgan county, Golestan province, northern Iran. We collected 30 species belonging to 5 genera in 3 subfamilies. Among them, Lasioglossum (Hemihalictus) croceipes (Morawitz, 1876) and Halictus (Seladonia) confusus Smith, 1853 are recorded from Iran for the first time and 18 species are new for Gorgan county. Among 112 collected specimen, the subfamily Halictinae (27 species), genus Lasioglossum (14 species) and subgenus Lasioglossum (5 species), representing the major groups of halictid bee and Halictus (Halictus) brunnescens (Eversmann, 1852) was the most abundant species in the study areas. Knapweed flowers (Centaura spp.) had higher halictid bee taxa richness. An updated checklist of halictid bees of Gorgan county is provided.

Abstract
Background: Masske is a traditional Iranian butter made from yoghurt. The first aim of this study was to isolate and identify the nonlactic pathogenic microflora by culture and molecular methods of identification, and the second purpose was to identify genetic similarity of the isolated bacteria in Masske.
Materials and Methods: In order to detect pathogenic dominant indicator microorganisms, a number of 150 bacterial isolates from three Masske samples, which may comprise the repetitive isolates and could grow on appropriate media for Staphylococci and E.coli, were classified into 8 groups according to their phenotypic characterization followed by chemical tests. Then 2approximately similar isolates from each group were chosen (total 18 isolates; we selected 3 isolates from 2 groups of eight), and the sequencing of 16S rRNA gene was done for subsequent analysis.
Results: Among 18 bacterial isolates, Staphylococcus hominis was the most frequently isolated species during the manufacture of Masske as the presence of this bacterium was confirmed in 14 out of 18 samples. Also, the presence of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Escherichia coli was identical across the samples (for each one, 2 out of 18).
Conclusion: Our results based on cultural and molecular methods suggest making some improvements to the hygiene of Masske manufacture due to the high population of minor pathogens.

Abstract
Soil compaction has become a widespread problem in the world and it is considered as one of the main factors affecting land degradation in arid and semi-arid agricultural land. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of soil compaction on soil carbon and nitrogen sequestration, physical (aggregate stability, saturated soil moisture content, bulk density, and porosity) and chemical (EC, pH, organic carbon and nitrogen) features. The treatments were applied in the form of the completely randomized block design with four independent variables and three replicates. The study treatments included: control treatment (no artificial compaction), T2 (2 times passing heavy tractor), T3 (4 times passing heavy tractor) and T4 (6 times passing heavy tractor). Toward this attempt, data was analyzed by means of the SPSS 16.0. Software package. The type of mean comparison method applied is the LSD test (at significant level of 5%). The results showed that different levels of soil compaction caused a significant effect on soil physical and chemical features. Based on the results, 6 times passing heavy tractor significantly reduced soil porosity and aggregate stability (respectively from 0.45% and 5.32 mm in control treatment to 0.255% and 3.88 mm) while this treatment (4) significantly increased soil bulk density as compared to other treatments(from 1.45 g cm-3 in the control to 1.97 g cm-3). Four and six times to-and-fro passing heavy tractor caused a significant reduction in soil carbon and nitrogen sequestration respectively from 3.26 t ha-1 and 149.62 kg ha-1 (in control) to 1.70 ton ha-1 and 48.16 kg ha-1for T3 and T4 treatments, but significantly increased EC in comparison with other treatments (changed from 0.58dS m-1 in control treatment to 0.83dS m-1 in T4). Also, all soil compaction treatments significantly increased soil pH. For example pH increased from 7.93 in control to 8.09 inT4. While soil compaction treatments resulted in significant decrease in organic carbon, total nitrogen and saturated soil moisture values.

Abstract
World production of caviar from the farmed sturgeon has recently so increased that in addition to compensate reduction of natural resources of sturgeon, it has also increased its share in the world market for caviar and its substitutes. Although Belarus, China and Norway are currently considered as the main exporting countries of caviar and its substitutes but, Iran solely exports caviar from sturgeon species. Having a world reputation in caviar brand, as well as the decreased natural resources, Iran aims to develop sturgeon rearing as well as modern marketing along with global standards to stand its brand and reputation as well as its world market share. The present paper reviewed the caviar and caviar substitutes market with emphasis on sturgeon caviar. During 1991-2013, caviar export from Iran decreased by 21.2 % in quantity and decreased income by about 17.2 %. However, the caviar value increased from 231000 to 680000 USD per ton.

Abstract
Projected global climate change may have a major influence on crop yield. The likely
effects of climate change caused by increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide levels on rice
yield in Iran were evaluated using a mechanistic growth model for rice, GSAC-rice, running
under a climate change scenario predicted for a doubled-CO2 (2xCO2) atmosphere
by the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL) General Circulation Model
(GCM). Simulations were run for two locations with contrasting climates, one in the north
(Rasht) and one in the south (Ahwaz) of Iran. GFDL predicted that as a result of doubling
CO2 , temperature increases by 4.5 and 4.6 0C during the rice growing season in Rasht
and Ahwaz, respectively. Changes in solar radiation are minor, but rainfall during the
rice growing season decreases by 38.8% (102 mm) for Rasht and 68.2% (5.8 mm) for Ahwaz.
It was predicted that doubling [CO2] alone increased rice yield by 30%, but that
yield decreases by 3.7 and 11.6% for each degree centigrade rise in temperature in Rasht
and Ahwaz, respectively. As a result of the combined effect of both doubling [CO2] and
the climate change accompanying it (predicted with GFDL), 8% greater rice could be
produced in Rasht, but irrigation needs would be increased dramatically by 57%. In Ahwaz
(the south of Iran), rice production could be halved and might not even remain a viable
option unless plant breeders are able to produce more heat tolerant rice cultivars. It
was concluded that rice production in the north and south of the country would change
dramatically.
